Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star! Oh, How Loved You Are!
Mama reached out to me with a pink and gold theme idea “twinkle, twinkle little star, oh how loved you are.” She gave me full creative control, so I put together a pale pink backdrop, light grey floor, white balloons, and gold stars.
I LOVE adding balloons to my cake smash sessions they are so fun, and the babies always want to play with them! These ones I formed together to look like clouds!
Little Mya was a curious one! She was very interested in my camera and, luckily, her cake! I always let the little ones lead the session (let’s be honest we know they can’t be controlled!) If baby is curious, I will let baby look inside my camera and show them some of their photos in the back of my camera. It kind of takes away any concern of the strange object I am pointing at them!
Mya didn’t hesitate to dig in! She went straight for the frosting! One of my favorite parts about these types of sessions is how calm it is. We all just sit and watch a little baby enjoy some sweet cake.
Miss Mya got a little messy, so we took the opportunity to do a milk bath. I always include a milk bath session because it serves a dual purpose. Cute photos of chunky little legs and round bellies and, of course, to actually get cleaned up from all the cake we smashed!

Mya was a BLAST! She was such a sweet, calm, and curious little lady. Babies like her are the reason I love doing cake smashes!
